I don’t know why I’d never been. But in any case, towards the end of the spring semester, I took a quick overnight trip to Philly; I did some touristy things, and some stuff that was off the beaten path, and I took a lot of photographs. I highly recommend both the Magic Gardens and the Fabric Workshop and Museum. At the Magic Gardens, to take any photography at all was to impose a fairly linear narrative on a nonlinear space; I did it anyway.

Of the exhibits currently on view at FWM, my favorite by far was Pae White’s Summer XX; I’d go so far as to say it was essential viewing, if you happen to be in Philadelphia. So moving, when viewed in person!
